Nebbiolo Prima 2013: preparations are well under way for next year’s wine summit

The quality of the new vintages of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero will be previewed at the fourth edition of the event organised by Albeisa in Alba (CN) from 12th to 17th May

2013 will once again feature what has been defined as “the Italian wine summit par excellence”. The fourth edition of Nebbiolo Prima will be held from 12th to 17th May at the Palazzo Mostre e Congressi in Alba. Taking centre stage will, as usual, be the three best-known expressions of the Piedmontese grape variety: Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero.

The event organised by Albeisa, the association that promotes the historic local bottle that was designed in the eighteenth century in order to give added value to the wines of the Langhe area, will take place over five days. Journalists from all over the world will gather together to take part in a pre-release tasting and evaluation of the following vintages: Barolo 2009 and Riserva 2007, Barbaresco 2010 and Riserva 2008, Roero 2010 and Riserva 2009.
